Faculty Position in
Mathematics
with preference in Applied Mathematics,
Scientific Computing, or Topological Data Analysis
for Fall 2026
The Department of Mathematics at the University of Oklahoma is experiencing an exciting multi-year period of growth and development. We encourage well-qualified individuals to apply for a full-time, tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in mathematics beginning Fall 2026.
Normal duties consist of teaching two courses per semester, conducting research, and rendering service to the department, university, and profession.

Qualifications
Applicants should have an earned doctorate in Mathematics or related field, postdoctoral experience and should have a demonstrated potential for excellence in research and teaching. Strong preference will be given to candidates whose research interests are in Applied Mathematics, Scientific Computing, or Topological Data Analysis.
