Exam II will be held in the usual room at the usual time: 10:30-11:20 on Friday Mar. 14. It will start promptly at 10:30, so make sure you're on time. The test will cover sections 3.2-3.6 and 3.8-3.9.
The test will have four problems, possibly with several parts each. Calculators or other mechanical assistance are not needed and are not to be used.
You will need to know from memory the derivatives of the six trigonometric functions. You also need to know the various rules for differentiation (product rule, quotient rule, chain rule, etc). You will need to be able to apply the rules reliably, especially the chain rule.
Most of the sections mentioned above cover one or two clear topics, so it should be clear what type of problems to think about (related rates, implicit differentiation, using differentials, etc).
