Nov. 11: The second midterm will cover sections IV.3 through VI.4 (remember, we skipped sections V.7, V.8.)

Oct. 11: Since the first midterm was held after the "automatic W" drop deadline, I will give a W to anyone wishing to drop during the "W or F" period (i.e. through October).
Oct. 5: The midterm is moved to Wednesday Oct. 7.
Oct. 2: The first midterm will cover through section IV.2. (Remember, we skipped section III.5.)
Sep. 25: For this week only my tuesday and thursday office hours will be shifted forward to 10:30 - 11:30. (I will be teaching another class beforehand.)
Aug. 31: Please have a look at the OU Math Blog from time to time. It is full of interesting and amusing items. Also, if you're inclined, consider attending the OU Math Club meetings, which feature free pizza and usually something vaguely math-related. The first meeting is at 5 pm on Wednesday 9/2, in PHSC 1105.
Aug. 21: Anyone who misses the first two class meetings will be dropped from the course automatically. If you have a good reason for missing both classes, let me know immediately.
