Empirical Study of Option Prices

A series of statistical tests are implemented to check the effects the varialbes have on option prices.
The data used in the project was collected from www.historicaloptiondata.com. The dataset includes
more than 20,000 observations, which were all drawn from the market on March 21st 2006.

The following is the descriptive statistics of the data:

Testing the existence of Multicollinearity, the matrix of Pearson correlation is shown in the following:
From the matrix above, we can see that all of the p-values are less than 0.05, which means at the 5% significance level, we reject the null hypothesis that the independent variables have no relationship with each other.
