UPDATE (FALL 2017): I've discovered lots of (minor) deficiencies in these notes in teaching a similar number theory course again. See my 2017 An (algebraic) introduction to Number Theory notes for a different set of course notes with more well written (in my opinion) arguments for many of the things in here.

(There was a lot of overlap in content, but with a rather different presentation. Still, this course does things that the newer course did not, but those are stand-alone notes while these were always just meant to be a supplement to Stillwell's Elements of Number Theory.)

You can still inform me of errors in these notes, though I am not making as much of an effort to maintain these notes as I am with my newer notes.

What is number theory? (Day 1 introduction)
Chapter 1 notes (Natural numbers and integers)
Chapter 2 notes (The Euclidean algorithm)
    Chapter 3 notes (Congruence arithmetic)
    Chapter 5 notes (Pell's equation)
    Chapter 6 notes (Gaussian integers)
Chapter 7-8 notes (Quadratic integers, The four square theorem)
    Chapter 9 notes (Quadratic Reciprocity)
    Chapter 10 notes (Rings)
    Chapter 11 notes (Ideals)
    Chapter 12 notes (Prime Ideals)
