Students success in a topics course is not measured by their performance on a written exam, but by the degree to which they learn techniques and ideas which they may one day apply in their own research.
We will not have a final examination in this course. Students will have many opportunities to display their learning by discussing the homework problems and visualization exercises, and by giving several seminar presentations during the semester.
