Abstract: Graph Harnack inequalities estimate the local energy of harmonic eigenfunctions for the graph Laplacian in terms of global quantities like graph diameter and curvature parameters. In this talk we will explore the various versions of these inequalities as the theory has developed over the past 25 years, as well as some applications to eigenvalue bounds and Cheeger inequalities (time permitting).
