Abstract: This week we will conclude our discussion on the construction of certain Gabor systems with a compactly supported window function (namely, the "Painless Nonorthogonal Expansions") and begin proving "The Density Theorem for Rectangular Lattices" as given in Dr. Christopher Heil's survey paper: "History and Evolution of the Density Theorem for Gabor Frames."
