Postdoctoral Positions
for Fall 2026
The Mathematics Department at the University of Oklahoma invites applications for one or more postdoctoral faculty appointments to start in August 2026. These positions are renewable over a three-year period. Postdoctoral appointees are expected to contribute to the department's teaching mission and to pursue active research programs during the period of their appointment.
Preference will be given to candidates who are recent PhDs, who can give evidence of ability to become excellent teachers, and whose research interests are compatible with those of the current faculty.
For full consideration, applicants should submit a completed AMS cover sheet, curriculum vitae, research and teaching statements, and three or more letters of recommendation, at least one of which should address the candidate's teaching experience and proficiency. Applicants should submit these materials through MathJobs.
